Making

Things Happen.

The DPOF hosted a Voter Registration Drive in Partnership with the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr Commission (AMLK) 2020 Nonviolence Youth Summitt Poor People’s Campaign. The event was held Saturday, September 26.  During the event the DPOF committee registered between 10 and 20  potential new voters,  completed a number of address changes and we distributed information relating to convicted felon ability to register to vote.  The event was a big success.  Thanks to the Kappa Psi Chapter at UALR and the Beta Chi chapter at PSC for their support to the DPOF VR efforts.

The Summit was designed to educate youth ages 10 to 18 on the importance of voting and to encourage and to engage in positive leadership development roles within their communities.  Thanks to the support of the DPOF Board of Directors under the Leadership of Jannie Cotton for the excellent opportunity to support such a worthwhile cause. A cause that is aligned with our mission and commitment to serve.
